Welcome to our beautiful, relaxing massage space in the heart of historic Bath. Housed within Chapel Court, a wonderfully secluded courtyard setting moments away from the Roman Baths, Thermae Spa and Cross Bath, our massage space is a wonderfully calm and nurturing retreat in which to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.

We provide a range of specialist massages and acupressure in Bath to both visitors to our wonderful city and residents. Our mission is to care for everybody and every body.

Minerva Massage Works is owned and managed by Holistic Massage Therapist Jo Greenwood, who has a wealth of nationally recognised qualifications and extensive experience.

ABOUT JO, OUR RESIDENT MASSAGE THERAPIST IN BATH

Jo is passionate about improving the wellbeing of her clients through the restorative powers of massage and therapeutic touch.

“I started my business with a clear vision – to provide truly unique massage treatments, tailored to each individual client in order to improve their wellbeing, in a space which allows them to connect with their body, mind and spirit.”

Initially qualifying in Holistic Massage at the Bristol College of Massage & Bodywork in 2016, Jo has continued her studies to encompass acupressure facial work and myofascial release.

Her full qualifications and accreditations include...

Level 4 Diploma in Holistic Massage, Anatomy and Physiology from the Massage Training Institute (MTI), studying at Bristol College of Massage & Bodywork (BCMB)

Pregnancy Diploma with Wellmother, accredited by the Association of Physical & Natural Practitioners (APNT)

Remedial Massage with the School of Bodywork, Exeter (APNT)

Hot Stones Massage with Bodyology Massage School, London (Federation of Holistic Therapists)

Currently a professional member of the British Complementary Medicine Association.

Also holds professional indemnity insurance with Holistic Insurance Services.

Her studies have always emphasised treating the individual as a whole rather than as a series of disconnected parts, which allows her to bring in a variety of techniques to her massage, making each treatment truly unique.
